HAND STITCHED QUILTS

Our Quilts are hand quilted by Mennonite and Amish ladies in the Waterloo County of Ontario Canada. These ladies are highly qualified having spent many years perfecting the art of quilting. It takes approximately five to six months to complete a quilt. The hand stitching is done by only one lady ensuring that the stitches are uniform in size and usually are 8-10 stitches per inch. The marker and quilters adhere to the 2” rule. This means that there is extensive hand quilting within the quilt, giving it durability and longevity.

There are many different designs and styles of hand stitched quilts, however there are no two quilts made exactly the same. Your chosen quilt is then a unique and “one of a kind” quilt. The print fabrics are 100% cotton and the solid colors are a polyester/cotton blend. The batting is a polyester fiber, which makes the quilts warm but light in weight and also machine washable.

We offer King size quilts measuring approximately 112”x 112” starting at $1100. Our Queen size quilts measure approximately 92”x 102” starting at $995 and our Twins measure 73”x 88”starting at $695. To help you decide on the size of quilt you need, measure the width of the mattress and add the length or drop you want on each side to determine the width your quilt should be.
